Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am a third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Gentry Royal Blend No. 2 in a black sandblast quarter bend undated Briarcraft (Dr. Grabow made) Wimbledon 810 author with a tapered black vulcanite stem. A double no-hitter in the 6th inning of the Braves-Mariners game. Wish I could pass up on work, and just watch the game. I may do that if this keeps up.

Now smoking 2021 Watch City Simply VOriental in a straight smooth medium brown 1930s Wilshire 5 bulldog (Comoy’s second) made for John’s Pipe Shop in Los Angeles with a black vulcanite saddle stem. The double no-hit bids are history as I expected. Had to lock Sam the Scamp in the back bathroom so Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger could eat wet food. Her scampers are in the playpen in the den. When they finish eating, I'll go out and feed Harry the Hairy. Abner the Eager was here earlier. No Tomato the Brave today. Daisy the Feral Princess is snoozin' in the studio.

Did a second set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2015 D&R A.B. Rimboche in an undated slight bend, smooth flame grain Wessex Standard egg with a brown accent on the black vulcanite saddle stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

You have some very nice looking pipes in your collection.

Enjoyed a tasty snap dragon apple, and am close to finishing this bowl of year 2014 Uhle’s 00 in a straight smooth brown post-WW2 LHS Purex Superfine 74 Canadian with a metal screw-in tenon and a tapered black vulcanite stem. Fed Sleepy Suzy, Molly Danger, Daisy the Feral Princess and the extra hungry Harry the Hairy.

Last smoke of the day is year 2020 D&R Penhooker Silver in a straight smooth dark brown late 1890s, early 1900s WDC bulldog with silver bands around the ridges, a decorative sterling silver band and tapered black vulcanite stem with an orific bit. Reading baseball box scores.

Good Morning!
Yesterday I was a bit under the weather and refilled a couple of Rob Roys with GLP Westminster to pass the time. Didn't sleep well and gave up trying about 4am, made a k-cup of coffee and loaded a fresh Rob Roy with Westminster, both were delicious! Chores are done, time for a break with Westminster in an MM Apple Diplomat and maybe a nap!

Couldn't sleep, so I did some reading and smoked a bowl of well aged Art’s Virginia in a 1980s White Pipe straight, smooth Rhodesian meerschaum with an acrylic yellow cream colored saddle stem. The pipe and tobacco were gifts from my late friend Art Arterburn. The blend is 80% McClelland Va.s and 20% McClelland burley. 4Noggins sold it for several years. Going to try sleep again.

Up fairly early but took a while to get the pups fed and settled in. Had to hold Augie for a while so couldn't post. Now about half way through a bowl of Urban Cowboy in the big Don Carlos 1/2 bent dublin that I've been smoking on and off for the last hour, lol. On my 3rd mug of coffee. Gonna be a busy afternoon. Gotta run by TSC for some supplies then out to the ranch to ride Cochise for a while, then back to town to meet my riding buddy for a late lunch at the casino.

Wifey took the doggies for a walk so have time for a bowl of my own Trail Boss in a MM general cob with another mug of coffee. Quail are back. Amike, apparently some folks around here like to harvest their eggs. Don't know why as they are hard to find and smaller than a golf ball. Takes 4 or 5 of them to make a decent meal, lol.

Quail and their eggs are both delicious but I like seeing them too much to consider eating the ones near me.
