Definitely can't help you with the foot rub mate  I have had some very, very hard jobs over my life but I cant even try to imagine your world man. I have butchered/dressed all manner of animals all my life and have pride in dissecting them with a good knowledge of the given animals anatomy. But when it comes to human blood and stuff I go to water, thankfully for lack of experience. I even turn away when I get blood tests  Good on you mate your bloods worth bottling (y)

Yeah the blood doesn't bother me. It's when I have to retrieve objects from down under is when I gag and wonder how the hell they fit it up there. Found a pickle jar once.

Yeah mum was a theatre nurse and remember her telling me they had to remove one of those plastic bowling pins from a mans behind. His excuse was he fell on it while playing with the kids wtf o_O

I was bobbing in the pool yesterday overhearing a conversation between a surgical tech from Denver and her mom. She said the hospital’s new management team was cut throat in saving money at all costs. She felt semi safe from job loss/time cut because she was knew how to put together the trays the way each surgeon liked them.

I've had all types of things. Favorite was a barbie doll. Didn't know if the brown hair was designed or altered.

NCO in charge of an ER at an Army air base during Vietnam. Highs & lows. The most gruesome was a trooper who with his girl friends help inserted a glass test tube up his rear and it broke. My God that was the worst mess I’ve ever seen.

Oh I can imagine the operation. Looking for tiny pieces of glass in a rectum would be hell.

No doubt. We didn’t do the work at our place. We had one small theater table and two more standard ER tables. We just stabilized the kid (he’d bled nearly dry) and sent him up to Saigon in one of our Hueys. I don’t remember hearing anything further on him. Every day was a new set of adventures and things moved fast.
