I've noticed that my nicotine tolerance has been increasing, so I lit the 1792 up in my Country Gentleman.

Last time I smoked this, my chest hurt, but tonight I'm having no problems. Are there other stronger blends I should try?

I usually smoke Haunted Bookshop, Old Joe Krantz, and Elizabethan Mixture. I've also tried 5 Brothers. What else is there? Rustica?

Gawith ropes. If you ever see a discontinued blend called Bracken Flake, that one also. Dark Birds Eye, several of the Kendal, like Dark Shag, and others are potent. Dark Kentucky, Bosun Cut Plug, and Coniston Cut Plug are all strong.

Not everyone like the flavorings on some of the Gawith blends. And not all are potent. But they have a great selection of potent stuff.

I agree with Carlos; I think the brown ropes are supposed to have slightly more N than the black btw.

Thanks! I'll look for them. The Gawith seems to hit all the stores in waves, and I never knew what I should order.

You might also consider something like Cotton Boll Twist which can be available in grocery stores. Yeah, it's a chewing tobacco, but these products used to be for dual use. I'm told they stopped putting references to smoking on the label due to the current smoking political climate. It is reviewed on TR. I have smoked Futurity, a burley chewing twist, and is good-reminds me of 5 Brothers.
