Anyone ever used a food processor on their tobacco?

Subject line says it all. What made me think of that is the can of Plum Pudding I just crumbled up by hand. Seems like a few pulses in a small food processor would make quick work of it.

Is that a barbarian thing to do?

I use a bullet blender all the time to make backwoods red smaller if I want some RYOs. A blender would be better as you have more control over pulse as the bullet sometimes makes it almost powder but still rolls and smokes ok.

It is a barbarian thing to do, that's why I use a small, electric, handheld coffee grinder on some of my tougher plugs/flakes.

Yep, small, dedicated, coffee grinder in use here for flakes and the like.

Yes, since I am a barbarian, a few pulses, working with a small portion at a time, have helped when jarring the dry and pressed crop for aging.

I don't feel the need to use a grinder for my pipe tobacco but if you find it works well, why stop?
