Good Morning!
It's an overcast chilly morning and we spend more time outside with a solar company employee looking for the perfect spot to install a solar array. Now I'm warming up with a cup of hot coffee and GLP Westminster in a bent MM Apple Diplomat.

Been kind of frazzled since the water heater problem Saturday, so finally a real respite to have a peaceful bowl of C&D Steamworks in what handles it faithfully, a Peterson rusticated standard system with p-lip 302. Water is my drink, and my companion is Bandit, a Boykin Spaniel.
Starting off with Straus Sleepy Hollow in a Jansen's N.O. bent volcano with vulcanite saddle stem, and a cup of Colombian coffee.

Feels more like summer here than autumn; record highs set yesterday. But it makes for decent evenings sitting outdoors, which is good, because this pipe which I call the Big A$$ calabash, definitely requires a sit-down session (or a really strong jaw!)! Hunter's Creek and a bit of Famous Grouse alongside...
DGT of Steamworks in the Peterson and pretty good. That's one of many things I like about this blend. I was reading on Jim Bowie and his famous knife this am, and learned he was born not too far up in Kentucky. I will have to take a road trip there.
Moving on to C&D Oriental Silk in a 1984 Peterson's Dublin 2 102 Silver Army Mount with vulcanite p-lip stem, and a 2nd cup of coffee.

Today I enjoyed a bowl of John Patton's Moe's Confetti which I immideatly like a lot. My favorite burleys have expanded from a group of three into one of four having smoked this. Viking 117.
Drinking fancy green tea and listening to an audiobook about the world before 1913, I'm about as happy as I could be here at work with my mood only being spoiled by the fact that I'm too darn hungry to focus!

It's beautiful outside today. I'm now smoking Wilke Lizzie Blood Red Virginia in a Barling Sovereign bent acorn with vulcanite saddle stem.
After a late lunch of double meat baloney sandwich and fig cake, I'm using the good ole Pete 302 for some Amphora Original, and enjoying this guy's company out in the sunshine. He got 2 scrambled eggs for lunch-yes, I spoil him.

Enjoyed three ham, cheese and two egg open face sandwiches with a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a 1999 smooth brown medium bend Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Baskerville with a sterling silver band and black vulcanite p-lip stem. Giving the 4AB Natural a day of rest. Gold Star Papua New Guinea, neat, is my drink. M'lady fed the ferals earlier, although she didn't see Abner the Eager.

Now smoking C&D Fireside Fable (Winter Reserve 2024) in a 2003 URAL full bend big bowl egg shaped Lattice meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. Finally deciding on what I want to write about it. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Earlier I had a bent MM Missouri Pride filled with C&D Star of the East while I was researching solar energy costs and equipment. Now I'm enjoying GLP Westminster in a bent MM Washington Rob Roy along with a fresh cup of coffee.
