Welcome! Pull up a chair and set a while. I went through a similar search almost exactly one year ago, and I'm still here. I hope you find a place here.

Hey all. Been making my way through the pipe smoking forums, looking for my 'tribe'. Some of the other forums are wound a little tight or run by petty tyrants. Hopefully BoB is neither!

So…your tribe is loose and not tyrannical? What characterizes are you seeking in a tribe?

Boy howdy Occidentalist!
I just joined up myself, a month ago.
I once was part of a pipe smoking forum that crashed and burned due to sudden viral illness. Man. did I ever love that Forum. They busted on me something awful for my corncob pipe smoking habit - I took it all in stride and gained some good Forum friends. Those guys were so funny!
Now I'm part of this Forum - the humor here is not quite as out of control as the other Forum that ceased to exist. However, there's plenty of humor here and humorous members.
Remember, post early and post often!

Morristown area, have you been to the JR meet up on Rt 10? I have not but planning to

I've heard of it but never went, as I'm relatively new to pipe smoking. I checked out the NJ Fellowship website but dates and posts are very old. Is it still a thing? Maybe we can plan to check it out on the same day. I'll have to give JR a call to see if it's even active.

Howdy, Peter! What kind of animal disapproves of cobs?!?! My cobs are some of my best smokers and the one from Southern Roots Pipes has the most sentimental value as it was my first pipe.
