Morning pipe of Borkum Riff Original in the Re-Gent, tea to drink. I am forced by coffee shortage to go for groceries today. My latest order of tobacco, including Mark Twain for my Breakfast of Champions, will be delayed by a national postal strike.
Singed, since you have Costco warehouses in Canada, have you tried buying coffee from them? They have good blends.

Had some Old Joe Krantz in my Bones Dublin and some tea. This blend really packs a punch, not quite sure where it sits for me yet.
Singed, I found OJK a bit much for me also, but someone had gifted me some OJK Red Label and I found it quite good with less nic hit and a bit milder than OJK original.

Have you had Arango Balkan Supreme? How does Straus compare?
@Ranger107, I think these are the same blend. Btw, I really enjoyed their Private Stock Aromatic. Which is not an "aromatic English" just added Latakia, which I verified on my latest visit to Straus. But it's no "lat bomb". From Straus's brochure:

Thanks, will give them a try.

Half way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Outside of Daisy the Feral Princess who slept inside, no ferals were around to be fed. The water main broke in front of our house this morning, so the city dug up the street to fix it, and the noise obviously scared the cats into hiding. I asked one of workers if they were looking for Jimmy Hoffa, and he said he was looking for buried treasure. I told him to let me know that if he strikes gold, I'll pan it out my share. Since the street is blocked off, I can't move my car or do my walking reps. Dunno how long it'll be before we have water, but a least we have bottled and distilled water so I can make coffee.

Enjoyed three ham, cheese, two egg open face sandwiches and a golden delicious apple lunch. Dessert was a quarter of a freshly made, very rich banana cream cake. I've a quarter of a bowl left of 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Gold Star Hawaiian Kona Extra Fancy Dark Roast, neat, is my drink. They are still working on the road, but my water is back on. Harry the Hairy and Abner the Eager showed up when the noise ceased, and are inside. Abner's by my side now. Haven't seen Tomato the Brave yet, but he'll show up soon.

Going to try that again with a different pipe. The mouthpiece is loose on that pipe and wrecked the smoke. I've tried heating it up and no joy. I'll go on YouTube and see my next option. I got a boatload of accidental inhales. Whoa, serious mind altering inhales.🤢🤢🤢
This time it's Bayou Morning in a Seville Burgundy Acrylic. It's a good smoking pipe so I can give the tobacco a fair shake. I still have to give Bayou Nights a go as well. Hopefully that experience will go smoothly.

Just finished smoking year 2021 Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Well I think Bayou Morning is a bit strong for me first thing. Later in the day after a big meal that's sat in me awhile.
My brother is gone for the weekend and and it's raining again. I'm going to take advantage of him being gone and smoke all day inside. Taking the day off except my animals.
I'm collecting and drying Connecticut field pumpkin seeds for next year.
Then this is up next. My 2024 mix in a bent bulldog. No glasses so I can't read the name. Need to cleanse my pallet with something familiar.

Enjoyed a couple of small chocolate eclairs, and have passed the quarter mark of this bowl of year 2008 Astley’s No. 109 Medium Flake in a straight black 1963 Dunhill LBS Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Good thing it was on city property and not your lot. We just had to replace the main line from the water meter to our house. 12K for water into the house and back down the drain, not so LOL.
