I’m a new pipe smoker. I have a total of six pipes; two of which are corn cob, a Wasi sitter pipe, Peterson sitter pipe, a Bing Crosby, Savinelli and my little bet stem Savinelli 314.
The 314 pipe is a dry system pipe and has a small bowl compared to some of my other pipes. It’s really perfect for my main smoking pleasure which I do to accompany working in my boat barn.
It’s lightweight, it has a perfect amount of tobacco volume for doing the many simple projects which seem to come up when you’re a boat owner. I sanded the bottom of the bowl so that is now a sitter. There is much to be said for a nice lightweight, beautiful smoking pipe that you can enjoy while finishing routine maintenance tasks.
