Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through the last of this tin of year 2000 VaPer Three Nuns in a 2003 smooth full bend, gold banded 3 Star Ferndown Tudor Root with a black acrylic tapered stem. The last of this bag of Gold Star Nightwish, neat, is my drink. Getting ready to clean a few pipes.

Relaxing with some Smooth Black & Golden in my big Lorensetti with a dose of bourbon. My Christmas gift order for my nieces showed up today, the border postmark is Dec. 23. I'll hold onto them until their birthdays considering I already replaced them and made delivery. Not sure it's one of Murphy's Laws but it ought to be...delayed post will arrive the day after it's no longer needed.

Just finished smoking year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Been chatting with a good friend so I didn't clean any pipes. I'll do it later. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A third of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Rotary Navy Cut in a post-1938 Pre-Republic Peterson Dublin straight smooth X155 bulldog with a sterling silver band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. Nigel Bruce smoked this model in two Sherlock Holmes movies. Please consider asking Shane Ireland at Smoking Pipes and Peterson to bring the pipe back into production. All the cats who are inside are snoozin'. Dunno where Tomato the Brave or Harry the Hairy are now, but they had full bellies after lunch.

Almost finished smoking year 2019 C&D Yorktown in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Terracotta 4AB No.108/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Cleaned a few pipes, and fed all of the ferals.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I've passed the quarter mark of this bowl of 2014 Sutliff 1849 in a medium bend smooth dark brown 1968 Barling 5631 London England TVF billiard silver spigot with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Watching Asia, which is a nature show on BBC America.

Rounded out the night smoking Mayo's Cut Plug in a no name rusticated bulldog with purple swirl acrylic stem. The tobacco is now dark brown, almost black. The jar aroma is rich and sweet. I thought it was a vabur blend when I first opened the can because of the 2 shades of leaf. When it was fresh, the added flavoring was more present, which I thought was muting the burley. I am now certain it's 100% virginia (bright and red) with a light sweet casing. No burley flavor to speak of. Being out of the can has really woken it up. A good change of pace from the earthier blends I've been on this past week.

A third of the way through this bowl of Wilke Surbrug’s Golden Sceptre in a late 40s, early 50s straight black sandblasted Wagner British Thorn 495 (Comoy’s second) pot with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Listening to Tales of the Texas Rangers from my radio collection.

Finished touching up pages, fed Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave, cleaned some dishes, enjoyed some low calorie snacking, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2014 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a dark brown medium bend grain etched 1970s Preben Holm Ben Wade Prominence B freehand with a black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Now smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Tomato the Brave is extra hyper. He's chasing anything and everything as he bats around various things in the kitchen, den, and hall, as well as invisible mice. It's a good thing that he can't see oxygen or he'd have a coronary chasing that, too.

Near the last third of this bowl of year 2020 H&H Chatham Manor in a straight black sandblasted, smooth dark brown top bowl 2021 Jim Brown stack bulldog with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Been listening to Josh White with Sleepy Suzy by my side.

Last smoke of the day is D&R Penhooker in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, Woolly Mammoth horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem. Been quite a while since I smoked this pipe. Reading while this bowl lasts.
