Hi all. I'm in the Anderson Creek area north of Spring Lake, NC. As I'm retired military and from the IT Industry, I spen most of my time smoking pipes, taking care of my chickens and dogs, wood working, and, uh, oh yeah, huney-dos. I have 48 acres to do what ever so gardening is a hobby. I'm learning how to make pipes also, as I think it is an amazing art form.

Ah yes, I know them well. I go in from time to time, but I'm not a fan of the traffic. I go to the Lowes in Sanford and stop in at their Cigar Bar for tobacco as needed. Or I just order online.

Welcome. I envy you your acreage! Must be one hell of a garden. I live in a manufactured home in a park of similar homes. My garden is 5 x 15 feet.
