Switching back and forth between the goofy NFL Pro Bowl and the much more interesting Caribbean Baseball Series. Puerto Rico has just jumped ahead of Japan. Some serious baseball talent on both side.

Smoking an unknown Danish horn with Sillems Black while nursing my Live Oak Early American Pilsner.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, cod and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm getting near the first third of this bowl of year 2014 Full Virginia Flake in a straight 1968 Dunhill Shell bulldog with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

A rare three pipe day!! I am enjoying a pipe I bought in 1984 from a maker who set up a stand outside of an Olympic event. The stamp is one that no one recognizes. The letter M or A or a combo of both. Squadron Leader is the tobacco. A gin martini is my drink.

Have you tried looking for a list of vendors from the 84 olympics? I think you mentioned that was where you bought the pipe. That may be a fruitful avenue. Also, every time I see the logo I think of it as an inverted crown, very rudimentary but still a possibility. I compared it with the listed crown trademarks on pipephil.eu - nothing there. Pipedia was a mess to work with and I admit I gave up.

I’ve journeyed deep into all things pipes on the web and scoured every pipe website. I’ve even called LA pipe shops that were around in 1984. All I get is Sgt Schultz saying I know nothing. The upside down crown never occurred to me. Very cool observation.

Earlier, I smoked a bowl of year 2014 Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a straight smooth medium brown year 1912 Henry Tongue bulldog with a silver cap and band and an amber saddle stem with an orific bit.

Enjoyed a short snooze because Sleepy Suzy laid on my lap while watching TV, and am currently not far from finishing this bowl of aged Rattrays Hal O’ The Wynd in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII (Comoy’s) Corinthian De-Luxe 126 pot made for Sutliff in San Francisco with a black tapered vulcanite stem.

Good morning,
I have not posted in a few days, been busy working way to many hours!
Smoking a Pete SH Strand with PS B&B 23,Boxer k-cup. I finally have a few days off - I hate the catering industry, but at my age,it`s about what I can still physically do...

Passing the last third of this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the ferals and my cats. Took a little time, but everybody's happy now, and there was no drama. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
