Part way through this bowl of first production Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Tomato the Brave banged on the back door, and as soon as I opened it, he ran to the kitchen. He was extra hungry, and after he ate, he went to hyper drive, and ran around the house, chased Daisy the Feral Princess, chased cat toys, and bunny kicked the blanket Daisy occasionally sleeps on. This seems to a new thing with him the last few nights. He laid by feet for a few minutes, and then wanted out. Once he did, he took off running. That fella has a lot of energy.

Once again: we need a "Yum!" like option. 🤓

Absolutely love my Bertram 120. Of all the pipes I’ve owned in my 16 yrs of smoking, it has the most wide open draw! I have a Bertram 80 that I picked up a few years ago, but broke the damn stem. Need to get that replaced this year….would anyone have any suggestions who to go through for this?
Smokers haven in NY, They do fantastic work at reasonable prices.

Good Morning!
It was a nice morning to do chores, the ducks are loving the warmer weather. I'm starting off with GLP Westminster in a bent MM Apple Diplomat along with a cup of coffee. I didn't smoke much yesterday and put down the pipes after a refill of GLP Odyssey in a bent MM Missouri Pride that kept me company while running errands.

Smoking a Pete SH Squire with Sutliff black vanilla/Golden Cavendish. Another mug of DD coffee. Although ,I like the bl vanilla,it`s to wet to smoke without the cavendish. I do this with Creme brulee as well and it works for me. I am waiting for a PS tobacco delivery today.

Starting off my smoking day early with a bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. The only feral around is Daisy the Feral Princess. She, and my cats were fed by m'lady.

Enjoying some great company at Boswell Hooligan meetup! On the ride up it was GH Dark Flake unscented in a Savinelli Estella 115 EX, followed by C&D Maestro Puccini in a GBD Conquest pedigree. Can’t stress how good it is for the soul to get out and hang with the pipe community!

Smoking my Pete SH Strand with PS Cherry #3 that just arrived. I am a quarter way thru the bowl and so far I am liking it ! It`s burning well and the cherry is nice, not in your face,or artificial . It`s a mild ,slightly sweet aromatic. My wife likes the room smell which is a plus for me. I will probably talk more about this blend as I venture thru the 4 oz. bag. Bottle of spring water to pair it with...

Over the last year I have found 4oz is a really good size of purchase to get familiar with a tobacco, especially to see how it compliments the other tobaccos I smoke on a regular basis. I like some variety in my blends, some favour different moods or times of day for me - sometimes even different seasons. Coffee is usually my pairing with tobacco in the morning, beer in the evening, and whiskey in some form or another at night. Lately I have been drinking water more with my smokes and that has led to some rediscovery in my blends.

I'm setting up a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in my Rossi Canadian, I lean towards a Burley forward tobacco for my second smoke of the day. First is usually a Codger blend, Mark Twain on the week-ends. Evenings are a mixed bag depending on what I'm having to drink.:coffee:;)(y)

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave did a little walking with me, and when he didn't, he'd wait under a car, and jump at me when I would pass by. He loves being outdoors. Harry the Hairy stood driveway guard, and just stared at Tomato. No Abner the Eager so far.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and have passed the half way mark of this bowl of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Coffee from a freshly opened bag of Gold Star 50th, neat, is my drink. Chatting with John Brandt.
