Well, those errands took up a lot of my day. But I'm relaxing and enjoying this lovely weather with Drucquer & Sons Inns of Court in a 1984 Peterson's Dublin 2 102 Silver Army Mount with vulcanite p-lip stem.

It's a cool 61° in the Bluegrass. But I brought a throw and am smoking CS Cowboy Coffee to go with my Folger's Colombian coffee. I won't be giving up my KBV Burley Morning Pipe and coffee combo, but Cowboy Coffee and coffee is pretty good, too. Variety is good. 🤓

What a lovely day in the Bluegrass! The missus served up a delicious pot roast dinner after church, and now I am contentedly smoking CS Riverboat Queen in a 1994 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Mycroft, drinking Colombian coffee, and reading The Stranger by Albert Camus, the latest selection for the...

Finally, I'm sitting down for a smoke after an afternoon of cleaning up leaves. It was a beautiful day for it. One more purchase from The Country Squire: Choctaw in an '80s Peterson's System Standard smooth 312 with nickle band and vulcanite p-lip stem. My drink is iced coffee. The bag note is...

Last smoke of the day: CS Riverboat Queen in a Peterson Dublin Edition smooth brown 999 with nickle band and a vulcanite fishtail stem. The bag note is chocolate and, maybe, raisin. I can taste the chocolate, but it's not as strong as in KBV Burley Morning Pipe. Also a little nuttiness, but I...

A package from The Country Squire arrived today, so I am finally able to try some of their blends. First up: Cowboy Coffee in a 1994 Peterson Sherlock Holmes Mycroft with fishtail stem. It has a very pleasant bag aroma with mild scents of smoke, fruit, and tang, nicely balanced. The smoke is...

It’s a cool, but not chilly day in the Bluegrass, and like many of you in the US, we’re headed for a lovely Indian Summer day. I’m smoking Straus Sleepy Hollow in a Jansen’s N.O. Bent volcano with vulcanite saddle stem, drinking Folger’s Colombian coffee, and reading a book.
