Well Bill, it depends on how traditional you mean I guess. Something to ingest before a meal to stimulate the appetite? Just expand your definition of “a meal” and you could make it fit. Hemingway’s Movable Feast? Whatever. We’re just having fun here anyway.

If you’re brave enough to do the Gawith Black Cherry I’d strongly recommend trying their Broken Flake #7 (dark fired VA plus Burley and fine scenting). It’s been a trustworthy companion for many years. This plays the role of an aperitif. Then there’s Fire Dance Flake…the same straight...

Back… Been looking around via uTube, etc. and have seen lots of stuff. Names mentioned here that are familiar are Kala, Ohana, Anuenue…and of course Martin. In 1968 I had a college roommate that had a Martin 12 string. If I ever forget the “Martin tradition” he’d remind me. I don’t...

Oh my…a gold mine here. Excellent. It’s for my wife. She’s 5’1”…tiny hands. She ordered two. A Soprano and a Concert Donner. Figured she would pick the one that felt better, sizewise. Question: will she need to have it set up or whatever by a local shop? (Taking a break: wife & son just...

After a lifetime of dedication and exceptional performance I was also pleased to see Novak snag the gold. Watching his very emotional reaction was quite something.
