Cool! I'd love to have a setup like that! I don't think the wife would be happy.

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Delayed post from yesterday. Autumn Evening in a MM 155th Anniversary pipe. The Aromatic blend just smokes smooth, but with not much flavor. I guess that's all I get; better than sour and tongue bite, I guess. Looking forward to my taste buds getting back to normal. Seems every time I get in a...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Post from yesterday delayed due to laziness. My missing C&D Autumn Evening from my tobaccopipes.com shipment of a week ago showed up, and I had that in a MM Dwarf Cobbit. Not sublime, but very nice. The Englishes have been wearing me down, post-op. I'm looking forward to being 'normal' again.

Yeah, I sent them an email within minutes of opening the package. Hoping they answer today, not that I'm anxious or anything...

Having some Plum Pudding in the brand-new Peterson 301 that arrived this morning. Smoking easy while Walter works hard, lol.

Anyone ever used a food processor on their tobacco?

Subject line says it all. What made me think of that is the can of Plum Pudding I just crumbled up by hand. Seems like a few pulses in a small food processor would make quick work of it. Is that a barbarian thing to do?

    Grrrr! Arrrghgh!

My long-awaited package from Tobaccopipes.com showed up today. I had ordered a new Peterson 301, a couple of leather pipe stands, a can of butane, and 4oz. bulk of Autumn Evening, because all I have are Englishes, and once in a while I like an aromatic. Oops, they forgot to put the tobacco in...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Thanks! When I woke up this morning, I could tell there had been an improvement. I've been kind of puttering around while my wife is out volunteering, pretending to do some chores, lol. Much of it was ordering our youngest around to do the muscle parts of what I needed done. Once I felt like...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Post-op, I've had this strange skin sensation, akin to how your face feels after the dentist when the Novocaine is about 3/4 worn off, except it's all over my body, and even my tongue is like that a bit. Throws my food taste off, and my pipe enjoyment too. I had my follow up appointment today...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Went outside for a pipe earlier today, but my taste buds are very unpredictable, post op. I will get a fresh start tomorrow.

Yay, I'm outside having a pipe, and the weather is wonderful for it. Plumb Pudding in a Pete.

Contemplating venturing out for a pipe later today. I haven't so much as wanted one until now. I'm enjoying some coffee now, too; haven't been crazy about coffee all week, either.

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

No idea if I mentioned this earlier, but I had back surgery on Monday. They sent me home yesterday. I think the 100' walk around the back of the house so I could avoid stairs about killed me in its own way. Sitting at the table having coffee. I don't think I'll be posting much for a few days...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Trying C&D Engine 99 for the first time, in my Dunhill Red Bark. Not horrible; smoked two bowls in a row. Still "looking for the pony." I also recently acquired Plum Pudding the other day. First bowl I smoked was simply adequate; not worth the $25 I paid for the tin. But I had another one...

    First McClelland

I decided to go to The Hill Cigars last night and pick up a couple of ounces of some bulk aromatic. I'm more sold out to the English side right now, but once in a while, you want something lighter (and maybe to distract my son away from my good stuff, lol.) So I ended up getting two ounces of...
