    What Are You Smoking Pages.

It's in the lower 40s F here, but it's been very dark and grey all day and the wind is brutal. Wind chill puts it closer to 30. I'm sitting in the shed with the doors closed, smoking John Bull in my 673KS. Very cozy here! Once saw an explanation of why Fahrenheit is a better scale for...

I thought it was inflation, but nope - sambal oelek & sriracha prices

I bought a bottle of Sriracha right before the shortage was announced. I'm set for a bit.

Saddened that my thrift store find of an unsmoked Dunhill broke last night. I pulled the stem out to clean it, and managed to crack a chunk out of the [whatever the part you stick the stem in is called.] I superglued it back in this morning, sanded the end of the stem down so it fit easier...

After feast smoke of Stove Pipe in my Dunhill Red Bark. I gave up on Stove Pipe after a bit; just never tasted very good. But this Dunhill seems to make everything good. First third of the bowl was "OK," which is good progress. 2nd third it got sweet and yummy. Very pleased.

I've got my second ever scheduled in January. Wife has hers in a couple of weeks. If we had planned better, we could have made it a date!

John Bull in my brand-new 1970s Dunhill only the second smoke in it ever. The first was Presbyterian Mixture earlier this afternoon. "Teaching" my youngest son how to rotate tires.

    Wife Found Me a Pipe!

Sometimes my wife and I will go to town and shop together, get a nice lunch in, etc. Today I stayed back because I too much to get done before frosty the snowman shows up, and my progress has been delayed by surgery and natural disasters. I went and sat down with my phone a minute to take a...

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

Had a 1st birthday party for our Bassett Hound Otis (don't judge...) We would have had it even if no one outside the house came, but two of my married kids that live locally came with spouses, and we had a grand feast prepare by my wife. Me and two of the boys sat on the porch and puffed pipes...

I was curious, so I went to the P&C site. It's out of stock now! Then again, so is Watch City. Must be hot stuff. I think the CS Rep was a bit over her skis; if it ever became normal to be able to keep it in stock, P&C would remove the restriction and you could buy as many tins as you...

Sorry to hear that. I hope you're able to get in quickly to have it fixed. I just recently had a problem with a tooth, and I wanted them to just take it out. Told me it'll be January before I can get in. I half-jokingly told the receptionist that it'll fall out on its own before then...

    Tastes Changed Yet Again??

I used to have an old army backpack lying around here. Looked like it was designed by the Marquis de Sade.
