After fighting the heat of the Falcon for two days I’ve decided to carry my joyful smoking ugly Canuck the 60 yards through the woods to the lake where there is a good log to sit on and watch the sunset and we can both be ugly and do beautiful things together.

Ten bowls in and I’m finally able to hold the bowl all the way down without blistering heat. This is a long winded sucker 1/2 hr to 45. Smokes great. PA is the blend

Thanks to Zippo’s post I took delivery today on this bent stem w/chimney bowl Falcon. I’m a sucker for big bowls. It smokes a little hot but w/cake build up it might calm down. After 3 bowls it seems to be slightly better.

The walnut trees and poison are starting to turn. Warm days but chilly mornings due to longer darkness. The earth is turning on its axis. Had a big breakfast w/OJ & coffee. Smoking a pipe I don’t rest nearly enough, the Sav 616 but it’s such a fine smoker. PA is the blend.

Fixin to order a new Falcon. I’ve only had Falcons with straight bits but would consider a dental if I thought it was an improvement. Input?

Another great weather day here in the Missouri Ozarks. Just filled my 2nd cup of coffee Smoking a Wenhall Futura with PA watching a wad of turkeys traverse my yard.

Gotta go to town today, almost out of PA. Bright and sunny, posed to get hot this after. 1/2 way enjoying some Amazon cheap K-cup “dark” roast. Smoking the Sav 616 with PA. Pleasant morning!

Nice chilly morning. Smoking the Sav 111 KS with PA. I counted 11 deer in this wad that just passed by.

I broke out the MM Emergent as I cleaned all of my pipes with stiff bristles soaked in alcohol and reaming most of them out. All seemed to be a little tired and needed some drying time. I’m going to try to get by for a week just using a couple.

Back home in God’s country. I dunno if I ever want to go back to the city, the most uncomfortable place I’ve been lately. On the front porch as the sun is rising, have the Ascorti bulldog with PA fired up.

Hot here. On back porch in the shade with a fan. Have the Pete 307 with PA. Guzzling a Miller HL. Going to the city tomorrow to see the wife’s new house.

It’s 94 deg. It’s too hot for my phone to charge, I can’t keep the Sav 616 cool (PA of course) Gonna crack a cold one in a few minutes.
