When this happens to me (having a partial bowl waiting to finish), I tend to layer another tobacco (not too radically different) to fill the bowl. Then just relight and smoke on my merry way!! Makes for an interesting transition from the top layer to the bottom!!! FWIW, FTRPLT

Enjoying a bright, sunny, slightly warm morning on the patio with the Mrs. Filled a 1960 DH ODA 836 Tanshell (like the EK but larger; octagonal bowl with square shank and stem) with 2009 P&C Larry's Blend. That and a mug of really dark, strong French Roast coffee got the ol' heart started up...

Tried Mixture 79 once back in the '60's!! Same with Paladin Black Cherry and several other aromatics!! Notice I said "once" & "back in the '60's!!" 'Nuff said!! FTRPLT
