I own your pipe's twin. Of my four Polinski's, it's my favorite. Here it is next to a Peterson. It has smoked well for me over the past year.

I agree with Hawker. I was watching a bent 1/2 rusticated jumbo about a month ago and it went for $81. The next week the very same pipe went for $180. I was kicking myself. It just wasn't in the budget at the time. There are still good deals to be had, but you have to watch closely for them.

That's why this is the third of this shape I have purchased from Marco; it just feels perfect in the hand, and the thick walls keep the bowl nice and cool.

Added a new one today, brothers. It's my third of this shape. This one, however, is considerably more stout (4.5" long). It's not quite a magnum but its bowl is about 1/4" greater in diameter than my others. I introduced it to Navy Flake today. I think they're going to be good friends  :D

I, too, have never heard of beard oil. I did a quick search online and found this interesting review in a men's magazine. It reviews several different beard oils and has links to their websites. Prices range from $12 to $50. Who knew...

I wasn't aware of this, EE. Where did you hear about this? Where (are) they being sold? As for your re-boring question, I like how Marco drops a normal sized bowl in a large block of briar. I never smoke full bowls, so I would never alter a pipe to make one bigger.

I can't discern a pattern. He will often produce a series of shapes for several months and suddenly replace them with something new. Some have filters, others do not. All of mine to this point have not had filters. My latest addition does. We'll see if I like it as much.
