Been slacking on posting the last few days, but have been rotating through GH Balkan Mixture, Dark Birdseye, and Dark Flake Unscented, mostly all through the Altinay Squat Tomato.

For my second rare departure from GH in as many days, loaded up GL Pease Key Largo in the Altinay rusticated tomato. After ~9 months in the jar, this blend has opened up wonderfully. Might even become a new regular smoke for me.

Still hitting the Balkan Mixture in the same Altinay rusticated tomato. Snapped a couple pics earlier. Coloring coming along reasonably well for about 2 months of use.

GH Balkan Mixture in the Altinay rusticated tomato, while reading Mill's Utilitarianism. Not exactly my cup of tea, but my young friend is taking a class on it at Yale, and I can't be left in the dust. I predict this will require about.. 10 - 12 more bowls of Balkan Mixture in total.

Rare change up from my usual GH blends, decided to smoke C&D Burley Flake #1 in the Altinay bent brandy with silver rim. Not bad! But characteristically a bit of a rougher smoke. Now back to GH Balkan Mixture in the Altinay rusticated tomato. This is more my speed.

Been up all night (morning now) working through some consolation bowls of GH Balkan Mixture in the Altinay tomato, after receiving some truly devastating news last night. Great blend for good days, and bad days both.

Capping off a great morning/afternoon with GH Balkan Mixture in the dedicated Altinay bent brandy with silver rim. Nothing like the company of a good woman to raise the spirits after a long solitary stretch.
