GH Dark Birdseye in an Altinay Calabash to start the day off right. @JimInks , do you find that your reverse calabash meer smokes closer to a calabash or a regular pipe? I've been tempted to get one a few times but wasn't sure if it was a functionally significant design or more of a gimmick.

C&D Tuggle Hall in the Altinay Calabash. Warming up to several of these C&D blends now they they've sat awhile in their jars. Though the C&D leaf still always tends to be conspicuously rough on my tongue. Haven't figured out exactly why.

Nice! I was surprised to find that drying brought out more chocolate flavor as well. Also recommend properly drying out GH No. 7 Broken Flake, it brought out a stronger vanilla undertone that didn't come through as prominently for me fresh.

Yeah there's a wide spectrum of drying preferences out there. I like a little dry time for the wetter stuff, burns smoother and avoids excessive steam and relights. I haven't tried any of the unsliced ropes yet, been wanting to for awhile though. Let me know how you like it
