Apparently the reason McC quit was they could no longer get, in their opinion, the superior Virginias to continue.

Peterson does a good job with the rebranded blends so they are less valuable than McC’s. But they didn’t rebrand all of them so some might be valuable in time.

    Selling your McClelland's?

If you want to see how far the market can go, go to 4 Noggins or TinBids. Their prices test the upper limits. Pipestud keeps things moving at “more reasonable “ prices (in comparison). Steve is a very honest guy who knows a lot about tobacco.

Talk to me about English blends

Also once you think you’ve found what you like, don’t think you have to buy a ton of it. Your tastes will probably change and evolve. Leaving you with a ton of said tobacco. This is especially true with English Blends that don’t particularly age. But that’s another topic.

    What Are You Smoking Pages.

I just set up three cobs for the near future puffing. First is Gaweth Perfection. Then Yorktown with a smidge of McConnell’s Pure Perique. Lastly is Sansepolcro with cut up Cuban cigar tobacco mixed in. Whenever I clip a Cuban torpedo I hack up the nub for mixing in a pipe.
