I opened a tin of Sam Gaweth’s Cabbie’s Mixture and came upon this fold out flyer with many pics and descriptions. Never saw one of these before. It’s a 2015 tin I believe. Great blend.
I’m smoking an even combo of Peretti’s 150th flake, S. Gaweth’s Brown #4, with just a smidgeon of McConnell’s Perique. I made a batch after trying this one to test. All were purchased circa 2017. Didn’t love the 150 or the #4 back then…
I’m having a bowl of 6 yr old PS Bullseye flake. This aging has produced a very very dark brown tobacco. I can’t believe the difference in color aging has caused.
I make an aluminum foil cup that lies on top of the tobacco. Then wet a small piece of gauze or cotton with distilled water. Then place that in the cup.
