EGR Blend in Yves St. Claude bent brandy.

Sutliff Mark Twain in a MM Mark Twain.

Wilke Commander in Hilson Rainer Barbi. One of my more comfortable pipes, fits just right into my hand, good balance for clenching too. Been hanging decoy wasp nests, will see if the internet hype is true about them cutting back on wasps. Country living at its finest!

Old toby tweak in MM Diplomat. This is 90% Old Toby and 5% each perique and some dried burley ribbon to hopefully soak up some moisture. Toby's starting to get some big boy teeth. Next go I'll try 80% Toby with these same ingredients.

Rather humble abode sir, but we don't judge! 😛

CS Old Toby in MM Mark Twain. Lavazza Gran Selezione with foamed milk on the side. I think good old Toby works best as a mild morning smoke. Several years ago I used to enjoy Holger Dansk Black & Bourbon with my morning coffee; this sort fits the same niche (though now I prefer CS Cowboy...

Gawith Hoggart Scotch mixture in a paneled Design Berlin. Kind of reminds me of the old dried wood smell in an antique shop.

CS Old Toby in my custom finished "Crackle Cob." They've made Old Toby into a toothless old geezer. Hard to believe there is Perique in this unless that is that faint dark fruit taste I get every now and then. Rather moist but once lit it was okay. Not really my cup of tea but I'll finish my...

    It's Getting More Difficult

Thanks, I see that Cup o' Joes has some in stock, but I'll keep you in mind for an emergency. Thanks for the offer. Of course, if you don't think you'll ever use it maybe we can do an exchange (Bear Claw, Benediction, etc.). I just wish I could order everything I want from one supplier, but it...

    It's Getting More Difficult

I'm okay on Ginny, mostly just Sutliff or Stokkebye Latakia that I need. Maybe Steve or others have need. Thanks

Ended the day with some Benediction in a Hilson Rainer Barbi. This was the last project he worked on before he died and the balance and feel are very nice. By the way, for this batch of Benediction I tweaked it slightly in favor of Wilke High Hat, so 5/9 (55.5%) Wilke and 4/9 (44.4%) Luxury...

You may be right, I don't even know anymore. It was thrown in the back of my cob cabinet not seeing any action so I thought why not have some fun with it.

Didn't have any Lancer's Slices on hand but found a jar of my own blend "Sir Lancelot" which is 5/8 Lancer's Slices. Enjoying in a London made Comoy 27, a shape you don't find too often.

    Mars landing

Good stuff, especially the Lancers. Never tried Mars before, I'll look them over and see what kind of trouble I can get into. ;) Probably have some Lancers after dinner now that you've rung my Pavlov bell!

My own blend "Aurum Luminae" in a custom finished "Crackle Cob" that I did on a whim. Gives new life to an old beat up cob!

Had a quick half bowl variant of Ranger's Urban Cowboy in a MM Diplomat. This last version used SWR, ODF, and unflavored toasted black Cavendish because I didn't want any overt vanilla or sweetness. Might be my last bowl for a couple days as mother in law is having a sudden fit of dementia...

    It's Getting More Difficult

Yes, my last supply order for blending tobaccos I couldn't find any bulk Latakia from C&D, Stokkebye or Sutliff so I had to order a tin of McConnell's Pure to hold me over. That's fine, I actually like McConnell's the best, but I can't be using that in quantity. I looked around on a few other...

    PAD taking over

Wow, never seen a pipe quite like that, sort of a modern scoop design. Will need more pics! :)

Couldn't decide what to have after dinner, so following Ranger's lead I threw together a Burley and Black Cavendish blend: five equal parts of Edgeworth, Five Brothers, SWR regular, Sutliff 544 Burley Cavendish, and Mac Baren Bold Kentucky. It's got cube cut, shag, broken flake, and chunky cut...
