Care to tell us what happened? I've never had a bad experience with the Boswell's. Amy and I own two of their pipes and we've smoked a bit of their tobacco... Must have been a really bad experience for you to give up on them completely.

Since I mainly work in a cigar store I have come to know the pleasures a fine cigar can bring. I am really starting to enjoy them a great deal. So far my favorite is the A. Fuente 8-5-8

I am really glad I'm not the only one going through this. :lol: I've been noticing that my regular blends just don't seem to be doing it for me right now. It's good to know that this sort of thing is at least somewhat normal. Feel a little better about it. :D

Oh yeah. I forgot that holmes said he had some knowledge of baritsu in "the adventure of the empty house" I think it was. Good call. Could have sworn it was escrima. I stand corrected.

Escrima. It's a form of Filipino martial arts using sticks of various sorts, usually called "escrima sticks" very unimaginative but effective. :)

Just finished a nice Acid Blondie from Drew Estate. It's good for a flavored cigar IMHO.

Another quick update. Got the car to my parents house and my dad is going to have some people look at it and we'll see how it goes from here. Bulldog, thanks for the advice.

He lives in the back woods of a place called Wayne. I'm going to have to coordinate with his brother, who is a good friend of mine, and figure out a way to get out there. It'll definitely be next week at the earliest.

Update. Still no word. I can't seem to get a hold of the guy who has my car at his house.... So, we're still bumming rides and whatnot. Being without a car is the pits.
