What do you plan on smoking for the 2008 Communal Smoke?

Probably C&D's Solace in a H.I.S. bent, both are gifts, the Solace is from Santa at Knox and the H.I.S. from my wife.

    New Year's Traditions

A gluttonous proportion, or at least that's how my family sees it. There's many more New Year's traditions here in TN, see eggman's post. Some more seem to involve, drinking and driving, drinking and fighting, and so forth, crazy people, just be careful if you're out driving. :pipe:

    No Questions Asked

Beyond generous of you TJ, I may take you up on that since my collection is atomic compared to most of the cellars around here, maybe even smaller than an atom, probably electron like. :pipe:

    My Doctor's Receptionist

    :lol!: That's hilarious. :pipe:

    Just an ignorant question

They're odd looking little things, lol, maybe someday, but I have other pipes I would want to get before I'd get one of those. :pipe:

    Just an ignorant question

Thanks for the info, I'll have to look around and see if I can find any. :pipe:

    Just an ignorant question

These sound really cool, and I'd like to have one just to have, maybe some day I'll find one somewhere.

    Just an ignorant question

Thanks, these look very interesting and are cheap enough that my wife might allow me to get it, plus I just let her get a new ring at an after-Christmas sale, so I'm looking for a new pipe.

    Any Idea?

Do you guys think it will be hard to get a hold of these when they drop? (mostly for me since everyone here will buy it all up before I get to purchase any  ) :pipe:

Wa' Did Ja Get For Christmas?

Same here, but due to the Secret Santa over at Knox, since I was well taken care of by the bearded Jolly man of red, my wife didn't feel that I needed anymore tobacco, and that I didn't need a new pipe to smoke it in. But, all my gifts were still excellent, definitely no complaints. :pipe:

    Please excuse my rudeness

Ditto, I tried to keep up, but I've given up...oh laziness is a disease. :pipe:

Greetings - its Deja vu all over again

Glad you could make it, Knox is still an OK place, :pipe:

    New to the Boards

Welcome, you'll probably be offering help to me in the future  , but maybe you'll learn something, too, not from me just in general. :pipe:

    Just an ignorant question

Thanks for all the advice, all of which is good, and all of the suggestions. I haven't really had very good experience with relighting, the tobacco typically has a bad taste afterwards, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's the tobacco. I'm trying to find a good bulk tobacco...

    A Worhorse Tobacco

I've been meaning to try this, thanks for the good review, makes me want to pick some up when the new year rolls around and I recover from Christmas, financially speaking. :pipe:

    Howdy from Lubbock Texas

UncleBob, good to see you make your way here from CPS. I hope you like this community just as much, and welcome. The mead still sounds tasty. I plan to brew some eventually. :pipe:
