    Spectre

DC is the most true to how Fleming saw Bond and the only one, by far, to be menacing, audacious, and smart enough to be worthy of the 00 status..........and YES, that includes the Scot! Connery didn't do much until after Bond. Casino Royal: B+ Skyfall: A- (I admit it is uneven at times, but...

Well, I took a nice steak to the grill for the Mrs. and I to split. NO PROPANE!  :affraid: What's a guy to do? Preheat over to 450, spark a grate on the stove top while I grab a cast iron grill plate. 90 second on high, flip, toss in the over for 8 minutes and DONE!

    Interesting comparosin

I'm sure I am like a lot of people in that I shaved less, mostly because I hated it before I discovered wet-shaving. Then, I started shaving more often because it was easier, I enjoyed it more, and I didn't walk around with a red and irritated face when I actually did shave. WIN-WIN.

    Finger nails

Interesting, truth be told, I am more interested in accoutrements that are consistently high-quality and reasonable. Man, it's a bummer. I think I am ready to get a real set of stuff that is good but not for Kings and Captains of industry, who have money to burn.

    Wet Shavers' preferred blades

So many people go for the sharpest, forgetting comfort. I'm Greek...would you believe I have a course beard but sensitive skin? Finding the right "recipe," for you is have the job and fun. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is beard-mapping. My hair grows in all sorts of weird ways and...

    Skin problems with wet sahving

I like the idea of letting up and shaving less. My face has never felt or looked better, even when younger, than when I started wet-shaving. Make sure your prep is good, as is your lather. Make sure you are using a less aggressive blade and razor and don't do 3-passes or go for best shave...

    Shaving soap recommendation

BUMP I have tried just about everything from Spain, England, Italy, and a lot of small artisan soap makers and the more I shave the easier it is to know what's right for me. In order: (seriously) Cold River Soap Works. For me, everything else is a distant second. Tim's Soap (stopped...

    Wet Shavers' preferred blades

RZR BLADES 101: You can't rate a razor blade on one variable. Aggressive razor or mild? Days of growth, etc. That said, your soap and how well you lather is a HUGE variable. anything more than 3 days of growth and my recipe is Feather + Muhle R41 + Mitchell's Wool Fat If I have to shave...

    Badger brush?

Simpson 3x Commodore was my first brush. IMHO, a good entry level quality brush. As a diehard face-lather evangelist, my next brush was a behemoth: 30m best Badger, that's very dense and has great backbone. Still WELL under the $100 mark. I like and have enjoyed both brushes immensely, and...

    Dear Friends

Greetings, I am not sure what to say about my absence that doesn't sound like an excuse. I miss the board and everyone on it and I certainly owe a few people an apology. I should have reached out and at least said I was taking a breather and that all the changes in my life, such as moving...
