Didn't C&D have some issues with their "Organic Dreams" tobacco? I vaguely remember something about the use of prunes to act as a mold retardant.....didn't work. I remember getting one tin and it was "swampy wet". It somked fine after drying and was pretty decent. A friend got a tin shortly...

Super easy and fairly inexpensive fix. I did one on my GE and it took about 20 minutes.......

I use them in my Nording / Eriksen pipes. They are basically small bits of "clay" that absorb the moisture from underneath the screw in bowl. The seem to do their job pretty well in my experience.

Jean du Toit is definitely still making pipes! He never really ever stopped making pipes, he just slowed down on commissions / "Pipe of the Year" projects. He posts pipes regularly on his site and I will also chime in as a proud owner of more than a dozen of his pipes, they are all great smoker...
