    Peterson tobacco?

I have some Irish Oak in a jar somewhere. At least 1/2 a tin. It doesn't agree with me. It's yours if you want it.

    Understanding Tobaccos

Penguin, I often times refer back to GLP's FAQ page for very basic information on tobaccos. His blogs "Out of the Ashes" "Ask GL Pease" are "BriarLeaf Chronicles" are worth reading as well. http://glpease.com/FAQ.html BoB member Oxman's posts are quite informative too...

    3-in-1 Tool

Same. I tamp very little as well, but the pick is quite handy for aeration and touching up the ashes and embers.

    Selling your McClelland's?

I may part with some of the English’s at some point, but not the VA’s

    Need Advice!

That sounds dicey. I love Blackwoods Flake, but I’d keep the Dunbar.

    Adding Alcohol to Tobacco

I would think that you would want to infuse it in, not allowing it to make direct contact with the leaf. I remember Mike McNeil talking about all of his direct contact experimentations ending in vain, hence the barrel stave idea for Frog Morton Cellar and Stave Aged 35.

Fribourg & Treyer Virginia Plug Pipe

I assume you're referring to Cut Virginia Plug? Anyway, it's a Kohlhase & Kopp product, and it's distributed by Arango. Similar to the current Rattray's stuff it goes out of stock quickly. The last big shipment was a few weeks ago. I am sure if you called around, you would find some at a local...

    An Interview With Kaitlyn!

Cool, look forward to listening. Kait cleaned up 3 of my favorite pipes a few years ago. She does really good work.

Meeting my brother for the first time.

Great news Dave, and a most intriguing turn of events for you. Bet you weren't expecting that! Hope the reunion is a happy one.

    Squadron Leader MIA?

This^. SG and G&H tobacco supplies ebb and flow. According to Bob Gregory, there's a shipment looming. Cup o' Joes had a load of G&H tins today, although they did sell out quick. That tends to happen when the hoarders feel as though there's a sense of impending doom. ;)

    Dunhill Nightcap

I always enjoyed Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend, enough to buy a 500g bag of it. Rich and spicy with perique and some Dark fired Kentucky for strength. Perhaps GLP Quiet Nights?

    Snuff Bombed

Most Excellent, and well deserved I’d say.

John Dowland Complete Lute Works Vol. 2, the amazing Paul O’Dette on lute

    What's your favorite coffee?

Just picked up a couple cans of the Cafe Du Monde. I’ll report back on my findings. Smells seriously good.

    Wife Lost to Netflix

I recently read about that one. Pretty cool. In the 70’s there were books that we designed in that fashion, with different endings depending on choices you made in the plot line.

    What are you listening to?

A Bach Concerto compilation album on the Archiv Produktion label featuring Trevor Pinnock conducting The English Concert. Recorded in 1982.

    Wife Lost to Netflix

We really enjoyed the Ballad of Buster Skruggs. My wife is more of a TV hound than I am. However, I really enjoyed Stranger Things, especially the 1st season. Daredevil was great too, and I am not one for the super hero series stuff. If you have Amazon Prime, Homecoming is pretty compelling...

    Fatbergs in British sewers

Looks like someone needs to lay off the fish-n-chips, kidney pies and bangers and mash.

    What are you listening to?

Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, the great Herbert Von Karajan conducting the Berlin Philharmonic. 1966 Deutsche Grammophon.
