    What's your favorite coffee?

I am way less of a coffee snob than a tobacco snob. I still buy big sacks of Peet’s coffee usually whatever is on sale, and make a pot of drip with a brown paper filter. I am always pressed for time in the morning so I stopped grinding my own beans. Anyway, I drink it strong and black. I have my...

    A Falcon for Christmas

If you would have asked me a few years ago what I thought of Falcon pipes, my opinion would have been varied. But I have really grown to love the few that I have in my collection. They are rugged, well designed smoking machines. I also admire the fact that the bowls trend toward smaller capacity...

    Death to Plumbers!

If it makes you feel any better, during our kitchen remodel last year the plumber (who was a total idiot) got stuck underneath our house. The general contractor had to cut a fresh access hole in the subfloor and pull all 325 pounds of him out by the legs. He was fired from the job...

    I ordered this thing...

Those are pretty cool. I have been using small jelly jars that I bought on Amazon. A bit pricey and they’re glass, but aside from that they’re fairly durable and hold a seal. Everything else I have tried from the plastic Mr. Snuff tap boxes to a real nice teak box fail in the air tight department

    Chew

I always enjoyed Redman Plug but it was not always easy to find. I also enjoyed Redman Golden Blend which I remember being a bit sweeter. Days o’ work Plug was typically on the drier side and a bit more challenging as a result. I only chewed Beechnut Wintergreen once. I liked it but it didn’t...
