I smoked some of this years ago, when it was first released and I liked it well enough. As Jim states, it is artfully blended. I'm thinking the "Perique" is a misnomer, though. Probably Green River Burley processed in the Perique fashion.

As for Esoterica, I'm not enamoured with Stonehaven --a good thing for me, since Stonehaven, and Penzance (which I also don't care for) appear to be the hardest to find in stock. I do enjoy (and cellar) some of their other blends -- Dorchester and Dunbar are favorites, Tillbury is also nice...

Agreed. The 100 gram brick of this Semois filled 3 half-pint mason jars with enough left over for a few bowls to smoke right away.

WTG-- you won't regret it. That PS Luxury Bulleye Flake greatly improves with a couple years of proper aging.

Haha! I've had that happen to me as well (I rely on memory,I don't keep a written inventory). Always a pleasant surprise  ;) 

I've used the Ball/Mason standard screw-top half-pint jars for many years with excellent results.  I store the filled jars in the cardboard case they came in (12 jars), duly annotated on the side of each case with a Sharpie to I.D.and date each jar therein.  They're all stacked in my cellar (a...
