Where in the world is PB?

I seem to remember this thread from the old place; just a way we can follow PB on his journeys. I'm not sure I've talked to him since I've been here, and he's been uncharacteristically quiet. Everything alright in PBland? showme

    Howdy from Oklahoma

Good to see you again, Muleskinner. I'd like your professional advice: what is your opinion of the Missouri Mule? I'm considering one for an avatar and wanted to make sure it was worthy first...or I'm worthy, one or the other. showme PS: Please point out the subtle difference between a mule...

Catchy name. What are some cool things we can do with it? Bumper stickers? T-shirts? BTW, I just looked and we set a record for most users online: 12. But at second glance I noticed that we did this TOMORROW, hahahaha. My clock was set plus GMT and should have been minus.

    Aromatics??

I've noticed that burley is a common ingredient in aromatic tobaccos (and many tobaccos termed cavendish). Is this because burley readily takes on the characteristics of whatever is being added? I don't get along well with burley tobacco and often will not try a blend more based on the fact...

Puff, as we are a group of gentlemen, I'm sure we could moderate our own threads. I can envision folks proudly marking THEIR OWN off topic posts, hehehe. Now, more about the tuna, please. 8)

    Mens shaving forum

I thought they looked full-sized; I have the same razors as the top and bottom pics (in the three pic post) but haven't seen the cases. I do have one travel kit that I got from Eggman. I'll try and post a pic of that. What do you use to actually shave with? Those look untouched.

Thanks, Vito; good to see you kicking around here, too. Regor, glad you like the book. It is certainly a good book to smoke a pipe by.

    Feedback on specific cigars

Thanks for the reply, LDG. Maybe PB can chime in about the specifics of the humidor; I got it from him. Without going downstairs and looking, I'm gonna guess the humidor might hold 80 cigars? It has one lift out tray and the humidifying device is probably an inch or so away from the top tray. I...

    Pipe waxing?

Hey Yak, you saying that made me think of this, which I'm sure has been thought of before but I know the answer not so... Would it be possible to seal a vulcanite stem to prevent further oxidation? I realize there may be problems with sealing the air channel, but perhaps something on the...

    Hey

I'd say your pretty close to right on the money here, Mike. When I started smoking a pipe, just not burning my tongue help the flavor of the tobacco a lot. I'm primarily into latakia blends now and after reading about your techniques I realize I am probably using the heavy lat as a crutch to...

    Feedback on specific cigars

Very new to cigars here, but I keep a few in the humidor at all times. Would you recommend, particularly GLP here, leaving a cigar in the celo until a day before smoking it then unwrapping it? I'm bad about keeping up with the humidor so I'm afraid if I unwrapped a cigar as soon as I got it and...
