    Hello from Slovenia

Hey Miloš! Welcome to the forum! Glad to have more people from this side of the pond! I know exactly what you mean by the lack of markets! But that row you have up in the gallery sure looks impressive. Looking forward to hearing some stories from Slovenia!

    Tetrad of White Bar pots

Ha! I would never have thought! :P Somebody crouching outside the frame balancing between a sheepskin and a steering wheel is not exactly what comes to mind by looking at the quality of the shots. Nice work!

    Tetrad of White Bar pots

Wow! That's some pecky birds right there! Peck your eyes out if you stare long enough (almost happened to me, I tell ya)! Good choice mate! And the photographs are nice as well. I never seem to get anywhere near as good contrast with the lowly little Canon I have at hand at the campus. Very...

Two new Yakslon pipes join the party

Ha, the birdseye on that Bull is like :face: And the grain on that Canada like :bounce: Good acquisition mate! Do let us know if these beauties smoke as nice as they look, eh?

    New Pipes with Which Tobacco?

People usually recommend burley blends for breaking in since they are said to build cake faster than other types. But the same goes for virginias. I tend to break in pipes with whatever I think I will smoke in them eventually. Nothing like a dedicated pipe that has ever seen but that one blend...

    Greetings from Vancouver

Welcome aboard mate! Keep tryin' them different baccys and you'll find a world of treasures waiting for ya! Nothin' broken with them sweet weeds either as long as they are making you happy. Haven't smoked an aro for a while now but can say without a flinch that some of my best memories are from...

Help me out with my next PAD

Can't help you much bro. I think you will be much happier in the end when you make the choice all by yourself. However, I do know the remorse you are referring to and can thus make a suggestion against Vipratis. I know the make firsthand and I can tell you that it's more about quantity and...

Just a shout out for 4Noggins!

I have to chip in on this one and give two thumbs up for 4noggins! Their service and delivery times beat all my other experience hands down. So lacking a brick and mortar tobacconist I can say that I'm a regular at Rich's. I hope they keep up the good work for years and years to come!

    What are you smoking?

Just watched the sun sink behind the countours of the city with my favorite Cavicchi wafting clouds of G&H's Best Brown Flake

Ebay etiquette -- contacting a seller

Unless the item has been bid on the seller can alter the listing to include Buy It Now price (or maybe even when it has been, not 100% sure). In any case, it's worth asking and there is nothing wrong with that. I'd say go for it!

    Shhh! A hint...

That was fast, as usual. But I am glad that at least Obelus got some. Now on to waiting for the next batch...

    Shhh! A hint...

I know many of you will disapprove but knowing how much some folks out there long to try the notorious P I thought it might as well be someone from this fine place who gets the chance. So, make haste if you will... to Marscigars. And of course, I have no connection whatsoever with the sellers...

Does this remind you of anyone?

Haha! I can really feel for that cat! And Frost! Though to an extent, I'll have to agree with his comment. The only difference being we're not yet married :P

New Pipe Purchase - good or bad deal?

Go for it buddy! It is certainly qualifies in the top-end of first pipes! How many people get to smoke their first bowlful from a diamond inlay briar, huh? ;) Just take extra care in breaking her in properly. The listing didn't really say if it was pre-smoked or not. Be sure to be patient with...

    Got It !

Nonsense! Resurrecting an old but dear pipe is amongst the best things one can do. No matter the cost or the make. Same goes for cars, bikes or pretty much anything that has gathered the dust of the ages and a few dings and scratches upon the way. Personally, I cannot wait for meaningful...

    Any Dunhill estate experts around?

It's out! Took me the better part of yesterday and a few dislodged fingers but that made it all the more satisfying! The alcohol did the trick, I think. I used 80% white spirit which I assumed pure enough. Not wanting to sink the entire mouthpiece for the issue of oxidation (vulcanites...
