    What are you smoking?

MM Great Dane in a Carey Magic Inch smooth apple with a tapered straight Vulcanite stem. I've had this pipe for years. It was a gift from a Brother that I believe was living in Arizona. I smoked it the day it arrived, put it away, and forgot about until tonight. It smokes surprisingly good. Have...

    For the Money You Spent...

One if the best deals I ever got buying pipes is an old Churchill billiard that cost me less than $10.00 and is one of my favorite smokers. Not a fill or pit to be found and is much lighter than it looks. AJ

So what age exactly is a Senior Citizen?

One is only as old as they feel. With that in mind I've been a senior citizen for almost twenty years. AJ

Use of Baggies -Yes or No?

Placing the tobacco in a double sealed baggie and returning it to the tin should help keep it from drying out for period longer than without the use of the baggie. For long term storage placing it into a Mason jar will keep it from drying out possibly for decades. Maybe the use of the baggie...

    A recent purchase

I think having a cabinet to display your treasured pipes is great. The simple straight lines of the cabinet don't distract from the featured display. Well done! :) AJ

Your VaPer and Perique blend Recommendations

^^^^^This^^^^^ Solani 633 is, in my opinion, one of the better VaPers available but my favorite is Former's Cross Grain Flake. Another blend that's worth mentioning is Dan Tobacco's Salty Dogs. :) AJ

    What are you smoking?

Still smoking some 2012 Christmas Cheer in a Country Gentleman cob. It's surprising how much better it is in a cob. I'm still discovering more subtle nuances as I gently sip this great blend. I'm a big fan of pipes made of briar but they just don't do justice to this blend. :) AJ
