I will be there and sharing a table with Mark Berman with plenty of fine estate pipes and vintage leaf. I consider this show the best in the USA, just my opinion of course, but Steve O'Neill and Marty Pulvers are to be commended on a fantastic show in a wonderful venue. No shortage of fun here...

I'm with you there Nate. There are a couple Pease blends that I do enjoy however. Barbary Coast is an amazing burley blend, and Telegraph Hill which is a very nice Virginia/Perique blend, full bodied and flavorful. I'll leave all the Latakia mixtures for the discriminating professional pipers...

Good idea. I have a couple pounds of Dark Navy Flake (McClelland's) that has been stored for about 20 years!!! It is so fantastic that I won't even share it!!! LOL Andy

Not to be pessimistic but you are correct. By the time you are able to retire smoking will be outlawed and by prescription only after the FDA takes over all control of tobacco. It will be speakeasy type of groups like we saw during prohibition. Stock up now, with all the tobacco you can store...

I've got an oldie on the cellar workbench that I've been meaning to get to fixin' but it hasn't been a priority. I really like the ones with the old brass blades. A collector I am not but I love old stuff, cause I'm old!!! :lol!:

Personally this is a very sad message for me. I have attended almost every annual show since the inception and will miss this event more than any other. Great folks, great venue, Southern hospitality at its best. :(
