Haddo's right out of the tin is something left to be desired IMO, but Haddo's five-years aged is divine. I've got a couple of tins aging away because at five-year it really is one of the better tobaccos from GLP. Again, my opinion.

For anyone curious, the pipe is expected to be around 6" in length and 1.7 ounces in weight. Too large for my taste personally, but it is a nice looking pipe.

Nice shape. Contacted Mark about the weight of the pipe. I'm hoping it's in the vicinity of what I prefer.

My now wife wanted to elope while I was in Kenya (she was there; I was visiting) 6 months before our wedding. I talked her out of it because her family would have genuinely been upset about it. Anyway, many blessings and tidings to you and yours' special day!

I'll echo everyone else's sentiments: it is a beautiful piece, perhaps your best yet. I do have one qualm, and perhaps it is the picture quality: the button looks a little too thick. As said, I am not sure because of the blurriness. Might be nothing.

I've grown accustomed to silvertip badgers myself. I even donated my pure badgers because they were rubbish compared to the silvertip. I'm a face latherer, so boar is a no go for me. It feels like broom bristles across my face. But, use what works for you.

I'm back in Kenya now, so I'm afraid I won't be selling anything for at least a year.

It seems people forget, too, that tastebuds are different for each person. 90% of my tobacco is Latakia stuff. Penzance ranks quite high on that list, and that was decided far before the hype on it picked up. I have 2 lbs of the stuff, and I'll likely never see anymore until that hype dies down...

It's an Ascorti pipe. The stamping is, of course, not what one is used to seeing, but there are other Ascortis out there sold there are like this one, as is evidenced above. The logo is blurry, but it looks fine from what I can tell. Business, king size pipes don't always have the business/KS...
