    Pipe Tobacco From 2007 Onward

That's the murkiness to me presently. Are reintroductions considered new blends? Not sure to be honest. Perhaps the saddest thing is that there may not be anymore new introductions period.

    FDA Regulations Petition

That's exactly what I think is madness, that is, that backdoor "good ol' boy" politics is allowed at the federal level. I'm not naive. It is big corporations that do this kind of bologna. Some would call this smart business, I guess.

    Pipe Tobacco From 2007 Onward

A limited batch was blended in 2007 and then reintroduced in 2009.

    Pipe Tobacco From 2007 Onward

Are definitely post the Feb. 2007 cut-off. The ones I can't remember when were introduced were the likes of the Frog Morton series (minus cellar because it is 2011) and the Craftsbury Series from McClelland. Not to mention, their number of club blends, which I only smoke a couple of. A lot of...

    Pipe Tobacco From 2007 Onward

It's basically a tempered limbo. I'm sure the tobacco companies won't say anything until things are bit more materialized. I wish I could take advantage of the 10% off. Alas, I have no money.

    Pipe Tobacco From 2007 Onward

I figured it might be time to start discussing what blends became available in February 2007 or later. The latest FDA regulations could spell doom for them in the next year or so. Simply provide a simple list of those you know came after the specified date. I'll begin the list by naming some of...

First negative Ebay incident in a long time.

This kind of thing, unfortunately, is all too common from our friends in the East. Ever watched HS Studio, Golden Gate, etc. pipes? I've bid on several in the past only to get sniped by someone in China. They would not pay the buyer so he would shoot me a message asking if I wanted the pipe for...

    FDA Regulations Petition

I'm afraid the propaganda runs far too deep in the majority of the population. I've signed the petition already, but it won't do any good. Truly, if there are any blends from Feb. 2007 onward you enjoy and could not do without, you should start to stock up over the next year or two (this seems...

More on the new FDA regulations.

I added all of my favorite blends from 2007 onward to a cart to see what the cost would be. Oh, brother, I may just have to do without tobacco. Missionaries can't be spending $800 on tobacco in one stretch.

More on the new FDA regulations.

Anyone see that the legislation has been released in PDF form now? https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2016-10685.pdf If there are any blends after 2007 you love, you may want to begin stocking up. The legislation seems to take effect in the next few months. There...

Massdrop - Fountain Pens and Other Cool Stuff

I just bought a pair of $140 headphones for $40. Funny thing is that I was going to buy the same pair of headphones back in the States. Great deal.

    Germaine group buy

Shipping bulk internationally is a bit risky last I checked.

    Germaine group buy

I'm pretty sure RDF is only sold in bulk and not in any sort of tin.

    Germaine group buy

I want in on this so badly that I can hardly stand it, but it is, unfortunately, a bit too rich for me at the moment. Sometimes I wish I had a normal, paid profession, but, alas, that is not my vocational calling. If you end up a couple short, I may force the issue.

    Prohibition pipes (Moonshine pipes)

Jonathan did a POY for CPS last year and he did a great job. I believe the majority of his pipes are factory made and then hand finished. Some of his custom pipes are a bit more of the handmade persuasion. He does have some interesting shapes though, that's for sure.

The nosewarmer trend and a Peterson pipes success story.

I so wish I could swing it right now, but medical bills come first. Shame, shame.

The nosewarmer trend and a Peterson pipes success story.

Where did you find that? That is the best looking Peterson I've ever seen.

    Mouth-bites/'Softee-bits'

Not sure where Zero buys his from, but P&C, Smokingpipes, or a local tobacconist is where I got/get mine. Also, I rarely take mine off. When they start to wear out, I cut them off, throw them away, clean the stem, and put another on. I keep a dozen soft bits at my place for occasions such as...

Why are Germain produced tobaccos so damn good?

I keep an eye out on all the retailers and I never see SLF come available, and yet you have multiples! Good on ya.

Who is your favorite maker or brand?

Regardless of how many "artisan" pipes I own, Teipen still remains my favorite.
