Good start to a storage solution

Storing and accessing my pipes and tobacco is a PITA in the tiny space I have for myself in the shipping container. It's already challenging storing personal stuff and clothes. I'll be happy when the house is built. I still have a gym bag full of pipes to display but they're safe in there. At...

My part in keeping up demand

I'm refurbishing some pipes for my daughter's boyfriend Chris. He's a casual pipe smoker and I'm trying to get him what he needs to continue the journey and enjoy himself. I bought him one new pipe and refurbished a bunch so he has a fresh pipe every day or can dedicate a pipe to a blend. He...

I embraced the squiggle with this pipe

One of my best friends wants a pipe he can carry in his pocket while he’s playing with his N scale railroad. He saw my little go go pipes and wanted one. I looked in my box of sad pipes and found something really close but it looked very sad. Even in sad box land. There were gouges and...

    What's your oldest pipe

As you have probably guessed I love old pipes. They make me feel something I don't get with a new one. Don't get me wrong. I have two new pipes I'm lusting over, but not yet. They require disposable income 😁. Well truth be told so do the old ones. So as the title says...What's your oldest pipe...

    Crooked stinger/stem

I have a a Medico pipe I was going to fix up. The problem is when the stem is screwed in it doesn't line up straight. Any ideas? I saw one tip to heat it up and then wrap cloth on it and twist it with pliers. Seems scary. I haven't seen any other tips and this is beyond my meager skills. Thanks...

    Fedora land

Watching classic movies and it’s all about the hat. Lady or gentleman you’re wearing a hat. Pre 1960 movies have pipes and cigarette holders everywhere. Nothing anymore. I had and wore a fedora while I was trying to find myself as a young man. I think I need a new one. You know to accent my pipes.

Help pick. What are your top three tins and bulk. Read below for more details

I got a bonus for some training I did and I want to build my tobacco collection. As a newbie I've barely built up much "cellared" tobacco in my collection. I need to take a break from buying pipes 😏. So tobacco it is. So assuming you can buy three tins and three pounds of bulk what would you...

    Classic Movies

My last day of movie classics while my brother's gone. Crazy to see actors in uncredited roles or with maiden names and finally realize who they are now. Today is American Madness and there in an uncredited role is Sterling Holloway. The second I heard his voice. Boom Whinne the Pooh and Woodsie...

    Help with this pipe.

I'm getting ready to clean up this pipe. I can't really find much about the company. A Runge & Co Pipe Tobacco postcard or ads are on ebay but they seem pretty old. From Philadelphia PA but that's about it. I'd like to know how careful I should be cleaning it up. Thanks Michael

    My Xmas gift came early

Three quarters of the fun of smoking pipes is the pipes, the next three quarters is collecting and trying different tobacco and the last three quarters is the company. I'm about to go enjoy this new Randy Wiley with some Lord Nelson and flash a picture of it to my ether pipe buddies.

    Brebbia kind of day.

I didn't have any Brebbia pipes yet and found this sweet little 50s one with a tool that includes a bottle opener. Then I saw these little min pocket pipes and although I have no use for them whatsoever I bought them both. I'll be putting my nose in mortal danger lighting them. Some day I'll...

    3D pipe holders

My tobacco buddy made me these pipe holders and put them in the box. Pretty cool and makes for better pictures.

    Hello from PNW

My apologies I just realized that I didn't do an introduction. My name is Michael and I just started smoking a pipe a few months ago. I needed a ritual to ground myself. I had to retire during Covid and was a couple years early from the plan. I have had two parallel careers most of my life. I...

    Help aging this pipe

Hello Bob, I am trying to date this pipe and get any other information about the pipe. The Jubile leads me to 1958 to celebrate 1908. Just a pseudo-SWAG no real info. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Good days work

My excavator is fixed and I just finished raking up slash with the tractor and smoking a coins of Charatan Rolls in this refurbished pipe. My first pipe ever and it smokes great. Maybe I'm biased. 😁 Time to get something to eat.

    My morning walk

Good morning, This morning I am starting off with a bowl of Wildman in my Tinderbox Monza. A big beefy guy to start the day with. Then a hearty breakfast of duck eggs and corned beef hash. I need to fuel up to work on the excavator.
