Mine is an Omron BP7450 which I bought at Walgreens. I forget price but I think $60 range. Checked out at the doctor's office as good.

It is cooling off now and it is time for the last Virginia of the year. Some House of Calabash Steven's Own in a "house pipe" (1963) from the Campus Smoke Shop at Bancroft & Telegraph a group 3 I guess.

Yes Steve, they are still being made I think and they have a devoted following. I have 3 and do like them especially when traveling. I think you would do much better to sell them individualy.

Nice grain. Some nicks in one photo, it is definatly used. Would like to see stem and top of bowl to see wear and how it is in good shape. I cannot make a price recommendation. Check some previous compleated auctions for similar pieces.

Where did you get Russian Caravan? I have not seen it for years her eon the West Coast.

Welcome Paul. Where are you finding tobacco in SE Idaho? We had a shop in IF and Poctello in the 90s. The IF was closed when I left. Is the Pocatello one still going?

BH It is allergy season. Lots of mold and pollen down in Sack a tomatoes. My throat is scratchy too. Hope that is all there is to it. LRT

Mac Baren 2014 HH Latakia Flake Very Dry made crumbly and tight packed.

The prevailing opinion is that the wide shallow chamber is best for complex blends. So the "English" Latakia perique blends are recommended. But, I have seen some that like Virginia blends in the 320, prince and pot shapes. Soooo YMMV Enjoy 8)

I do believe, no experience, that they are very thin as the stem/shank is more narrow then most pipes. I just use regular cleaners in my Dr. Grabow Viking. Also, the viking stem is removable while the Falcon was not meant to be removed. But, the Falcon and bowls are still made.

The viking and the Kirsten are both good choices. There is no metal taste or hot spots with mine. Have no fear and a happy smoke.
