    How did you guys get over tung bite?

    I used to get bite alot when I first started because I smoked to fast. I don't notice it too much anymore but one pipe I never get bite on is my p lip. Since the smoke goes up rather than right at your tongue tip it helps avoid that problem

    Thanks, I have been able ID all the pipes now. Nothing amazing but they are all in workable condition. No Burnouts or cracked bowls. There was a Dr. Grabow Freehand that is fun looking, haven't smoked it yet. Also two "whitehall" stamped pipes with desisgns carved in the bowl, one with a square...

    Thanks for the info!

    I have been smoking pipes for a few years now, I have come here and a few other forums for info over the years especially when i was getting started. Now i know how to use a tamper, how to ream, and all kinda of fun stuff. My favorite pipe is a Peterson Aran 150 with a p-lip but i have 5 others...
