    Falcon pipes

I have two, one made in the US and one in England. Great smokers, but fussy little things. Don't use the ring so constantly cleaning the humidor. I'm more of a knock the ash out, stuff it, smoke it, no cleaning, no days of rest after a smoke, or other ...ah ...S..tuff.;)

What would you choose and why?

    Presbyterian.

Ok, survey: How many bowls do you smoke in a day?

6-10 sometimes more. less than when I was working. Small pipes, quick and hard. Oh I inhale. Pipe is my preferred nicotine delivery system, not something to occupy my hands while I contemplate weighty thoughts. Then when and where I grew up all the pipe smokers were hard working farmers...

Why can't Missouri Meerschaum include stronger stems on their cobs?

Thank I was wondering if you would take offence. I'm just too stupid to shut up.

Why can't Missouri Meerschaum include stronger stems on their cobs?

Vermont Free hand. Just a standard stem in black, Lucite, $18.00. Sadly, I think your $3-4 upcharge is a ...... wait for it...... Pipe Dream;):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

You want a put down, I'll give you one. I WANT A VULCANITE STEM OPTION! Got in contact with MM and they said more or less no one likes Vulcanite, everyone loves Lucite don't bother us again you wingnut;). Vermont freehand has on their site Vulcanite stems coming soon, been saying that for...

Any Carter Hall lovers or haters?

Carter Hall is my tobacco. Prefer SWR but that's hard to find and I dislike switching back and forth. Hanf & Half is like smoking sweepings off the cow barn floor. To me Prince Albert is more of a RYO tobacco, maybe because that's what dad and my closest uncle use d to do. No nice or...

    Peterson question

Only one Peterson, and never had trouble using a standard pipe cleaner. Even less now that I put the stem on a belt sander and did away with the P-lip.

    "Revised" my pipe rack

Nothing worse than having an old group photo with no names. Now you need to tell who's who.;) Great job!

    colonoscopy anyone?

10 feet of garden hose? NOPE! Dr. keeps after me, and I tell her no and don't start in on my smoking, flu shots, shingles vac, etc. either. Maybe next year, and maybe not.

    Choose One of these Four

I like SWR but Carter Hall is less expensive. Prince Albert is okay at best, I think of it as a RYO. Half & Half, might as well smoke hay chaff off the barn floor after you let the cows back out. Then a lot of old timers used to smoke Half & Half. Now I'm the old timer, when did that...

    Cutting a pipe bowl?

Filling it half full still don't work for me. still too much waste. maybe I'll give it some more thought before I drag out the chainsaw;)

    Cutting a pipe bowl?

Little background. Been smoking a pipe for about 40 years. A pipe is my preferred nicotine delivery system. I'm not sitting for extended periods of time gazing at my navel and taking a long-drawn-out smoke. Yes I inhale. 5 min. break smoke a bit and back to work. Before you find fault, I...

    Let me resign ... PLEASE!

I told em and I told em. I've got my age. I've got my time. One day you will look around and say hay where did so and so go? They all laughed and said I would give plenty of notice, have a retirement forced fun meeting, an exit interview, and all the B.S. that allows the management to pat...

    Help buying my first COB

been smoking MM cobs for 40 years. Only started with briars some ten years ago. Lucite stems are nice, same for the forever stems. Shapes and size for whatever strikes your fancy. BUT it's darn hard to beat the simple, common, Legend. Now if someone would make a Vulcanite stem...

    Rogers Sheffield NOS Pipe Knife

What is the knife blade like? I'm not looking to slotter hogs, or baton fire wood, however I have a few Basset knives that you can't put an edge on to save your soul. It would be nice to have a pipe tool/ pen knife that was actually usable. Thanks. Yes I know about "doctor's knives" but they...

Lament of the Canadian pipe smoker

How many head shops do you have? Here in Maine Czarina Mills and the Duma outlawed sales of tobacco by mail. (to protect the children. which I thought was the parents job.) then made not only "medicinal" marijuana legal but recreational also. So, other than chain cigarette shops, one cigar...
