The so called codger blends are soaked in polypropylene glycol and shouldn’t dry out very fast as is but Bovida’s are 2 way and should keep them fresh just fine for a very long time. I smoke a pretty natural tobacco that will dry out in days and I live in the dust dry desert 8 month a year. I...

I bought a couple of boxes of Balkan Burnt Ends. I was expecting a very rustic cut but wasn’t expecting how difficult it is to prep. I’ve never enjoyed prepping tobacco and I have no clue why I bought into the hype and went through the effort and was excited to buy it.

I’d recommend 97% alcohol over pipe sweetener and if you do need to trim the cake I’d avoid sharp reamers and use a popsicle sick or sandpaper. I use the hourglass sticks from ice cream bars.

Crappie’s area pretty much unregulated pan fish here. They’re an easy worm wiggler catch. You can clean up a pail of Crappie and be eating delicious pan fish dinner pretty fast.
