10% off C&D bulk at 4noggins

Like the title says, got an email from 4noggins saying that they've 10% off Cornell & Diel bulk blends till the end of February.

I'm not too familiar with the C&D bulk stuff, does anyone more familiar with them have any suggestions for me? I love a good strong English or Balkan normally.

The stuff of theirs I like is mostly Burley-based, so it might not be to your taste--Night Train, Old Joe Krantz, and Haunted Bookshop are all good smokes that are included in this sale.

If you have any interest at all in aromatics, Autumn Evening is a good one and is available in bulk.

I've tried Pirate Kake and thought it was a good Latakia-forward blend, though not really the kind of thing I would normally smoke.

I've heard good things about Star of the East and Billy Budd as well, but I haven't tried either.

Wow. That's weird. I first got one offering 20% off, then another corrected, with apologies, to 10%.

Yep, Confirming I got the 20% first, then the 10% correction emails.

Thanks for the suggestions John, I may get some Pirate Cake as I thoroughly enjoyed the sample I got from SP. I should also get some Star of the East as I've heard it's pretty sublime.

Super Balkan is nice and so is Billy Budd, as long as you like a stronger mixture. Billy Budd benefits tremendously from being stuffed into a jar and forgotten about for a couple years. At that point it's quite rich & creamy. I usually pick up some Epiphany whenever I re-up my stash of C&D bulks.

I'll give another nod to Billy Budd as one of my favorites. I like to smoke it in a very large bowled Ferndown I have, and like Chris stated, with a couple years of age it is very creamy and rich. It's a nice variation on Latakia, since so many Lat blends taste similar to my palate.

Night Train is my current go-to in the C&D portfolio. FWIW.

Epiphany is nice, and Autumn evening is good, though there are times I think it's a little heavy on the topping. I have mixed it half and half with a red Virginia for a nicer result. Founding Fathers is pretty nice too.. Someone sent me some three friars, and that is nice, but made me light headed. I'm curious about Oriental Silk, that sounds tasty too....

Oriental Silk is fantastic. My favorite C&D bulk by far. However the OP was looking for full Englishes so I didn't bother to mention it.
