I was shooting for another classic billiard on this one. It probably should have been rusticated, but I wanted to practice contrast staining some more. Feel free to tear it apart—I want to get better at this!

Nothing to tear apart, nice grain, smooth lines, draft hold looks well placed and good staining. Looks like a really nice pipe!

I like it. I like the flaws in it as well, not a fan of rusticating. I'm working on one now that I'm afraid I may have to rusticate. But after seeing this one maybe I'll let my flaws show too. Great job.

I can't tear it apart, I'm a sucker for the billiards.... definitely some nice grain on that one!

I wouldn't tear that'un apart even if I could. It's a beaut. That's character on the front. Looks great!

If I smoked straight stem pipes I'd tell you it looks like crap and to send it to me, but seeing as I only smoke bent stem pipes...it looks great brother, good job.

I'm sure some pro could tear it apart, I can't really...maybe it could be a titch taller? *shrug* I think it's stunning. I hear billiard pipes are one of the more difficult shapes to get right.

Good on you for not attempting to fill the flaws, I wish more makers would just leave 'em be. Fills often look worse than what they're trying to cover up.

May it smoke well!
