Yeah, I was eyeballing that one myself,,,nice pipes Mr. Hester

Yep, #2 is a winner. #1 is also in my fancy because it looks like an upside-down, volcano freehand, which I thought was extremely unique and makes you go... "Whaaaat?" My kind of stuff. Really, really cool stuff Richard, I had no idea you were such a talented and creative carver.

Makes me feel kind of sheepish posting my hack pipes knowing there's this much talent lurking about.

They are all awesome, I am especially keen on number 1 though, very talented sir.

I like that 2nd one from the top as well, nice work! Does that have a plateau front?

That's some fine work you've done there! Your shaping is excellent, to be sure. #4 is especially excellent. Where are you getting your briar?

I thank you all for the kind words. I got these briars from PIMO and they all were good briars. the horn and the bottom pipe have the plataux on the front with som real nice cross grain.
and Kyle I seen your work also you do make great looking pipes. Once again thank you all
Best regards
Richard

Whoa! Every time I think I might try my hand at pipe making, someone like you puts me in my place. Can't you show us some flawed rejects so I don't feel so intimidated? :p
Is that last one sandblasted or rusticated?

Brother George believe me when I say I have made plenty mistakes which is good in the winter time I can hide them in my fire place.

Lot's of creativity showing in your work Richard! Love the forward canted cutty shape, as well as the plateau you have left in unusual locations. Very cool! 8)
