None of these are my photos, I'm just nabbing them from the internet.

How do you like that guildhall, and you have some really nice pipes . I just recently got a GBD that has some nice birds eye like yours

It seems really nice, but I haven't smoked it yet. The draw seems great, the walls are really thick but the briar is lightweight.

I have a buddy who's aspiring to become a refurbisher, so I'm sending it and the GBD out to him to work on. I can't wait to get them back!

Great haul. Especially the Pete.
I love it! Every Dalkey I've seen so far has had beautiful stripes, waves and birdseye in the briar. I also LOVE the look of the red ring at the shank, it really sets it apart from my other pipes...

'Though, I do have a custom pipe coming that will blow these others out of the water!

All nice, congratulations, but I really like that Pete Dalkey. That has to be an unusual finish and a fishtail to boot.
Enjoy!

Me 3 on the Pete Dalkey. Same goes for the Guildhall. Nice!!! :)

I like the looks of that Savinelli. Congrats, you have a good collection going.

I don't usually lean towards egg's, but that McCarter is very nice, indeed!

...and of course I have to join the chorus of "Nice Pete!"

The shank on that McCarter is is great love the shape..would be proud to have that on my rack any day

Dave McCarter is doing my custom. He emailed me tonight to let me know that the shape is 90% there, and he's working on the stem in his off-time. More staining, sanding, staining, sanding, coloring, buffing and polishing to go. I absolutely love his regular pipes, but this one is going to be incredible.

Sounds like it I can't wait to see it
And, sadly, you'll be waiting even longer.

Dave McCarter emailed me today and said that he found a sandpit in the briar on the shank, right off the bowl, that he didn't see until after the stain set and after the first polishing. It goes straight into the draft hole, so he has to start over with a fresh block of briar.

What a gorgeous piece of wood that's heading to the trash...

(This also isn't the correct stem, he added this just to give me a teaser)

Sorry I was late to the viewing party (not sure how I missed this thread)...

...all STUNNING pipes, any of which I'd be proud to own!
