Hello,

I wanted to share this unique pipe that I received today as a hand me down from my father in law. It is a leather clad pipe made by a company called Chap of Saint-Claude, made in France. I haven't smoked it yet but it seems like it will smoke nicely. It is quite light. If anyone has any info about Chap that would be great. Happy smoking gents!

Thanks Harlock

Unfortunately the tablet I'm using won't open part of the link that you suggested. I will try posting a few pics tomorrow when I am on my PC. Maybe I will have better luck.

I haven't had luck posting pics from an IPad, so you're not alone...

When you do post pic's go to Fotosizer and your pic's will be sent & recieved in an instant.

Still no luck posting a photo but I will tell you about how it smoked. "The Fonz" as I have christened this black leather jacketed pipe burns HOT. As I said before it is quite light. It has very thin walls and and a thin bottom as well. I couldn't even make it through my smoke in fear that it was going to get severely charred. Oh well, its a good looker. I will try it again later with a blend that doesn't burn so hot.
