Anan pipes?

Has anyone ever heard or have any experience with these pipes? They're fairly reasonably priced, though some of the briar used seems better suited for sand lasts and rustication than the smooths used.

I've seen these before, in fact I have the website bookmarked.
Really nice looking pipes but, I'm afraid I know as much as you do about them and the carver.
