Still waiting for this jewel, been to the post office every day although I know it's still travelling.

I've received the pipe today!!

As usual with Nathan, the pipe is in even a better condition as what he described. And, it's a super nice smoker.

I've filled it with Irish Oak and the taste of the tobacco is sweet and smooth. I love it!!!!! :bounce:

NICE, NICE, NICE :p Typical Dunhill/Parker/Hardcastle deep blast and a nice wide fishtail bit!! Ya done GOOD :p

Nice pipe - congratulations!

(I have one myself that is the twin of your new pipe)

I've been reaching for this pipe a lot since I've received it because it's one excellent smoker. It might become my #1 favourite, together with my other old Parker.

I've been thinking of buying a Dunhill more and more but I'm a bit worried that I might spend a lot of money and then..........it might disappoint me by being inferior to the Parkers.

But, of course, I won't know until I take the plunge. So I have a lot more thinking to do.

By the way, I find this Parker to be an excellent flake smoker.

I think you might want to pick up an estate Dunhill. The newer Dunhills just don't seem to be made to the same tolerances as the old ones. Oh, and yes, old Parkers are great smokers. I just bought a patent era Parker bulldog. I can't wait for it to get here.
