The photos brought back lots of memories from many years ago!! Impressed they were still using wood smoke for their curing process!! FTRPLT

That's great. It's a way of life around here still. Farmers get the slabs and sawdust from lumber mills in time for the next season. It's a 13 month job. I used to do it myself. It's a good way to learn hard work and that it is a good thing.
